Terms of Service

Who we are
The Spotify Data API (“the API”) is an independent service run by CheckLeaked. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Spotify. Spotify is a trademark of Spotify AB. You can reach us at admin@checkleaked.cc.
What you buy
A direct key is a prepaid pack of API requests on one key. The number of requests, the rate limit and how long the key stays valid are shown at checkout before you pay. Only successful responses (HTTP 200) count against your pack.
If you choose auto-renew, PayPal charges the plan you picked every 30 days and the same number of requests is added to your key each time, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the key dashboard or in your PayPal account; requests already added stay usable until the key expires.
Free trial
When we offer one, a free trial key has the limits shown when you ask for it (for example 500 requests over 7 days at 1 request per second) and is sent only by email. There is one trial per person and per inbox: we may refuse or disable trials asked for with disposable or forwarding addresses, in bulk, or to get around these limits. Adding a pack to a trial key makes it a regular key under these terms.
Using the API
- Keep your key private. Anyone who has it can spend its requests, and you are responsible for how it is used.
- Stay within the rate limit of your key.
- Do not resell your key or publish it.
- Do not use the API for anything unlawful or to infringe the rights of others. The data comes from public sources and is provided as is; you are responsible for how you use it.
Availability
We work to keep the API available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, a response time or a service level. Endpoints can change when the underlying data sources change; we list changes in the changelog.
Suspension
We may suspend a key that is used against these terms, for example for abuse or fraud, or after a payment is reversed or charged back.
Refunds
See the refund policy.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for a key is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; using the API after a change means you accept it.
